In this project archival works are used to create new images. Witkamp wanted to question the value artist give to their work. She started experimenting by the use of tearing, burning and bleaching the photographs.

While exploring these new methods the images started to convey a new story. They reminded her of a déjà vu. A memory coming back in a flash, just seeing small pieces of it. Eventually leading up to a moment of clarity after which the memory dissolves again.
